Apology card

I bought this card. Wrote a heartfelt apology. Then I didn’t deliver it. Not because I didn’t want to apologize anymore but because I believe I didn’t need to anymore. I think the awkwardness of the apology would be a worse offense to them than not apologizing. So I left it at that. Still, the card was pretty and I liked it so here it is. 

I am definitely an overdramatic person.

a need to sober up my mind

 25000 steps today.  Morning: woke up and pretty much had to meet a r for fancy coffee. I felt a little weird because she had to pick me up to get to the place. i don't like that because i feel like it makes people less inclined to hang out with me if they think they have to pick me up. i offered to meet her there but she refused. the ride itself was fun. i acted as the navigator using her phone while she listened to evermore songs. the coffee shop was pretty much what you'd expect. it was small with little wooden tables along the wall and a chalk board behind the counter. they also had some pastries and i couldn't help but to buy one. we got some fancy coffee with 'tajin' in it.  unknown time: We went to a new park. we walked in the snow and talked. a little bit of everything. i told her about her super leggings. gosh how embarrassing haha. i brought up cy. i guess she's been on my mind lately. i don't know why. i even dreamed with her last night. in my dre...

mega social weekend

 i feel extremely sleepy. all of the nights of this weekend i've been too tired to write. tonight included, so i'll be brief. maybe i should stop writing my daily things. we'll see. saturday: early morning i was invited by m and wu to go bouldering. it was fun. it had been a long time since i had tried it. m has improved a lot in the time since the first time we went and she was climbing probably at almost r level. it was fun because it meant she could push me to do/try certain problems i wouldn't otherwise. right now i feel that i may have overdone it just a tiny bit because 50% of my body aches whenever i move. but it's fun. and hopefully this means i'm a little stronger now.  in the afternoon i met with r and j for a nice lunch and cocktail hour. i'll be damned if it wasn't fun. i'm really happy these people are into this because there was something missing from my life after cy left and i just found out what it was: high end libations and food. i...

5 meetings and 3 large coffees in 3 days

 morning: woke up with a goal already set in place. i had to finish work before a 10 am meeting. i rushed to make coffee (the colombian-ethiopian mixture). In order to procrastinate as much as possible i used my cloth filter which forced me to wash dishes from yesterday. then i wanted to use the large monitor i had brought from work. unfortunately i wanted to use it through the usb-c hub and my computer was not reading it correctly. instead of just plugging the hdmi to the computer, i struggled to fix the problem. 3o minutes later i got it working. i had a tight hour to finish my work, make it presentable, and send it out to the people who needed it before the meeting. classic myself squeezing the last of every second.  morning meeting: things went well. unfortunately i am still being pushed from above to do more writing and lit review which is going very slowly at the moment.  midday: another meeting. this time i had very minimal participation but the meeting itself was ...
