large coffees 2 days in a row

 morning:

another early wake up call. got to work to find most of the team arriving at the same time. i guess the boss wasn't explicit enough so only e and t arrived early to check on the heart. the heart was not good for experimentation and so we had to cancel the plan. i had called it the night before so i didn't feel guilty about sleeping an extra 30 minutes. since we had extra time e and i went to get t's breakfast and some coffee for ourselves. it was much needed since i had stored lack of sleep from the say before.

work went well. i had to wear a weighted vest and it was annoying but at least i could just be in a space silently without the pressure messing up during a social interaction.

Lunch:

e and i walked outside to get some noodles. i had coliflower gnocchi. it was surprisingly tasty. i also had m pick me up some sambusas and sweet plantain. my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. i was super full afterwards. the walk outside was very nice. i don't remember if it was sunny but it felt like it was. it's always a nice treat to see the outside after being cooped up in the basement for so long. the conversation with e was normal, not too many awkward moments. she was lovely as usual.

 Afternoon:

worked with r on a coding problem. i taught her python and some basic basic stuff on files and then sort of stepped back as she continued to solve new problems. it was pretty fun. it was also fun because we were able to actually solve our problems. i remember always thinking that being a "coder" would be a cool job. unfortunately i never had the opportunity to learn. when i got to college i felt all the other students in comp sci came from high school with coding knowledge and that i couldn't even compare, so i didn't try. now working on small coding things makes me feel as excited as when i play video games. it's kinda cool. of course all my projects are small and the solutions are always there. I wonder if i liked it as much if i had to do it 8 hours a day everyday. probably not. in the end, r actually saw the benefits of using python to automate some boring stuff and i felt accomplished i got her to like it. she was cool as usual.

Evening:

tired. i've been sleepy most of the evening into night. did not make dinner. too tired and lazy and well in the early evening i was still not hungry from the big lunch.
